United States History I
Instructor: Hutchinson
In United States History I, we study American history and culture from the Revolution until World War I. Grades will be determined by a point system. Each semester is worth 45% of your grade, and the final is worth 10%. Homework is assessed usually by short quizzes worth about 3 points each, quizzes range from 10-50 points, tests from 50-80 points, and projects from 20-80 points. Writing and class participation are crucial components of your grade.

The proficiency for US History I  can be found on the Social Studies homepage for Tenafly High School.

Next Step for Project
Step 3: Your second summary must show a focus in your research. Your sources must include the following: one book (can be accessed digitally), one scholarly article, and one “edu” website with an author. This time you must cite your sources using MLA format. Note how and where you accessed the book and article. It is due Monday, May 8. Again, 3 pages for a pair, 2 for an individual.
